Robert B.L. Murphy Legacy Circle Luncheon Honors Our Founder

The Wisconsin Historical Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the Wisconsin Historical Society, hosted luncheons sponsored by Murphy Desmond on May 3 (in Madison) and May 5 (in Milwaukee) for members of the Murphy Legacy Circle and Wisconsin Historical Foundation. The luncheons honored the memory of Murphy Desmond’s founder, Bob Murphy, who also co-founded the Wisconsin Historical Foundation in the 1950s.

Prior to the lunch event, an estate planning seminar and panel discussion was held for attendees. The Madison panel discussion included Murphy Desmond lawyers Gini Hendrickson and Alison Helland. The firm also had a table of 10 at the Madison event, and our president, Tim Valentyn, spoke for a few minutes about Bob Murphy, whom he worked for and knew personally.

Attorneys Gini Hendrickson and Alison Helland participated in an estate planning panel discussion prior to the Murphy Legacy Circle luncheon.

Milwaukee sportscaster Jessie Garcia was the presenter at the luncheons, in which she talked about the history of Wisconsin Olympians.
