Firm Honors Founder at Wisconsin Historical Society Annual Luncheon

On May 16, 2023, the Wisconsin Historical Society (WHS) hosted the Robert B.L. Murphy Legacy Circle Annual Luncheon at Nakoma Golf Club in Madison.

Murphy Desmond sponsors this event each year, which bears the namesake of our founder, and includes a 2nd luncheon in Milwaukee.

The invitation-only event includes WHS and Legacy Circle members. Legacy Circle members are individuals who have included the Society in their estate plans.

Mr. Murphy was actively involved with the mission of WHS for over 40 years. In fact, he was a historian himself and was interviewed by the University of Wisconsin's oral history program in the 1990s. 

The educational luncheon program featured information about Black Point Estate & Gardens and historic preservation of old homes and buildings, presented by WHS Site Director Dave Desimone.
