Attorney Kristin Beilke focuses her legal practice on civil litigation and insolvency. She represents creditors and debtors in all chapters of bankruptcy, Chapter 128, receiverships, and civil matters. Her experience includes litigation of commercial and consumer disputes, foreclosures, collections, preferential and fraudulent transfers, replevin, contracts, and appellate matters.  

Kristin is a Co-Chair of Murphy Desmond's Creditor Rights, Business Bankruptcy & Commercial Litigation practice group. She has participated in panels and has lectured for continuing education providers, including the Wisconsin State Bar's "Nuts and Bolts of Collections" program. Kristin has been named a "Ones to Watch" by 2024 Best Lawyers in America in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law. In 2023, she was appointed by the Honorable Josann M. Reynolds to serve as a supplemental court commissioner for Dane County. In 2019, Kristin was a participant in the Next Generation Program at the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges.

A Sharefolder with the firm, Kristin is fluent in Spanish and a member of Murphy Desmond's Bilingual Legal Services team. She first practiced law in Illinois prior to moving back to her hometown. She maintains her Illinois license to assist clients across the state border.

Kristin is available to meet with clients in the firm's Madison, Janesville, and Dodgeville offices.
